Growing old is something no one can avoid, every few years we can notice differences in our skin; maybe we notice wrinkles, age spots, fine lines as well as other marks that where not there before. These marks could be consider beautiful to some and others might consider it the worst thing that has happen to them. Your Skin

The largest organ in the body is the skin; on adults, the total average area consist about 20 square feet. This magnificent organ is capable of doing many thing, the skin is able to protect us from microbes and its elements; in addition, this organ helps regulate body temperature and allows the sensation of touch, cold or heat. Over all skin is made up of 3 layers:

  • The Epidermis
    • Outermost layer of skin, this layer provides you a waterproof barrier and our skin color/tone.
  • The Dermis
    • Layer beneath the epidermis, it consist of a tough connective tissue where hair follicles and sweat glands are.
  • The Hypodermis
    • This is the deepest layer of our skin and is made up fat and connective tissue.

Fact: Melanocytes cells produce the pigment melanin, this are responsible of our skin color.

Love your Skin in your 50’s

Step 1 – Cleanse

Your skin is constantly regenerating, using skin products with exfoliators will encourage the production of new skin cells. In Addition, if the product exfoliators is natural, then your epidermis will be clean from dead cells.
